(New Haven, USA) -- Today, the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center (IHRDC) released a 70-page report, “On the Margins: Arrest, Imprisonment and Execution of Kurdish Activists in Iran Today,” which details the Islamic Republic of Iran’s on-going campaign of repression against the Kurdish community in Iran.

UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, released his report to the UN Human Rights Council.

The International Atomic Energy Agency issued a critical report Tuesday saying that it has "serious concerns" about Iran's nuclear program and has obtained "credible" information that the Islamic republic may be developing nuclear weapons.

Behnam Ganji Khaibari arrested with Kouhyar Goudarzi on 31 July 2011, Behnam Ganji Khaibari, who was later released, committed suicide on 2 September 2011. Kouhyar Goudarzi’s mother, who was arrested the day after him, was brought to court on 6 September.

The White House condemned the conviction and possible death sentence for an Iranian pastor who refuses to renounce his Christian faith on Thursday, saying the execution would further demonstrate Iranian authorities "utter disregard" for religious freedom.
