BIOGRAPHY

James Hewitt is currently Global Head of Sales & Distribution for Citigroup’s International Cards business, the largest bank card issuer in the world with business in 50 countries.  In that capacity he has responsibility for driving sales volumes in each of the 50 countries and optimization of the multi-channel sales process.  He sits on a number of Citigroup’s leadership committees.  Prior to that role, Mr. Hewitt held a number of other roles within the organization, including most recently Global Head of Digital Strategy for the International Cards business.

Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Hewitt was a principal at MillerGray Ltd., a marketing and brand development firm where he led strategy for B2B and B2C clients. 

Prior to that, he was the Head of Marketing at a division of Sony, held a financial analyst position at IBM in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and worked as a legislative aide for US Congressman Robin Tallon on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.

Mr. Hewitt holds a B.A. in Communications from The George Washington University and a Masters of International Business Studies (MIBS) from the University of South Carolina, where he guest lectures on global strategy and international management.
